Today one of our decorated deputies was assumed to have been kidnapped.
Detective Sergeant Olivia Morgan was responding to a 911 distress call in a discrete location. The deputy was responding to what we now believe to be a hoax call. The Sergeant's body camera and dash cam has been recovered. The footage does not show any usable information of the suspects or their vehicle. From what we could tell when she arrived on-scene and walked into a cabin where she was investigating. The armed suspects surprised her from behind, aiming their weapons they told her not to move and listen to their commands. The deputy could only comply at this stage as she obliged to all of their commands. They stood in front of her as they stripped her from her duty equipment and all electronic devices. The dashcam footage shows similar events from the front angle. The Sergeant's vehicle, equipment and clothing has been recovered.
We urge the kidnappers to make contact with the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department's anonymous line to make communication for negotiations. We beg for the kidnappers to leave Olivia Morgan unharmed and return her safely home. We can only express our sincerest concern at this time and we have every available resource out there looking for her.
